Sensors attained ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation

SALINE, MI, November 29, 2022 - Sensors, Inc. is excited to announce that our particle number calibration laboratories have attained ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation at our Saline, Michigan, USA manufacturing facility and at our European subsidiary Sensors Europe GmbH in Erkrath, Germany.

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is the recognized quality standard in the world for calibration and testing laboratories. Accreditation means our calibration laboratories are regularly audited and validated by the National Accreditation bodies to safeguard adherence to the strict requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards to ensure precise measurements and conformity to applicable regulations.

Sensors' ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certificate was issued by Perry Johnson Laboratory, an internationally recognized world-class accreditation body. The scope of the accreditation allows us to perform polydisperse calibration on Particle Number Counting Instruments following the German Instrument Calibration Guideline (“AU-Geräte- Kalibrierrichtlinie” [VkBl. 11/2021-Nr. 131] for the Periodical Technical Inspection (PTI) market.

“We are proud to offer calibration as a service for PN-PTI device” says Oliver Franken, Managing Director of Sensors Europe GmbH. "It is an important step to safeguard the conformity of production but also to ensure that devices can maintain the required accuracy over lifetime and after repair."
